Dianthus pontederae Royal Midget

DIANTHUS PONTEDERAE ROYAL MIDGET

Dianthus  pontederae Royal Midget
Royal Midget Dianthus DROUGHT-WISE
Light green, soft spiked swooshing clumps, push off tiny, hot pink semi-double flowers in late spring that have a slight fragrance. A perfect fit around large boulders, surrounding taller perennials or over smaller flower bulbs to accentuate it's diminutive habit. This plant needs excellent drainage to be content. Shear back blooms to keep tidy.

~It can be used in meadows, also as a lawn substitute, in pathways and patios, but will bunch up a bit, so keep that in mind.
