Semi-evergreen plant that forms a dense mound that will slowly get larger with time, giving a very soft, yet undulating appearance. Bright yellow flowers cover in spring. Terrific lawn substitute, between flagstone, or around evergreen shrubs.This plant needs excellent drainage to be content. Shear back blooms to keep tidy.

Tips from Fran
Potentilla crantzii is a clumping Potentilla, which means it won’t get out of bounds on you. It is an awesome border plant and demands little attention from you. However, because of this mounding growing habit, it is not recommended for pathways and patios.
