Raoulia australis Scabwort

RAOULIA AUSTRALIS SCABWORT

Raoulia australis
Scabwort DROUGHT-WISE
Tiny, gray leaves form a dense mat to make a perfect groundcover. Yellow flowers completely cover in summer.  Very useful over flowerbulbs, along a gravel driveway or around roses. Perfect for a dry pathway, or any place that is neglected. Excellent drainage is a must. Over watering will impair growth.

Tips from Fran
Raoulia autralis is another fun plant name. RA-OU-LI-A…see it just rolls off your tongue. And…it is a great plant! Plant it in super great draining soil and forget it. DO NOT OVERWATER THIS PLANT. It will rot for sure if you do. Mound up when planting, which should help keep it dry or plant in gravel to keep water off.
