The plant’s foliage has deep green/gray leaves that form prostrate mats on the ground that, when in bloom in spring, resembles an avalanche of snow. It is the great substitute for moss in hot, sunny locations. It will quickly trail down the side of a rock walls or make an impressive border. In mid-spring, it is completely covered by large 1/2 in. wide, white flowers. Very impressive when mixed with spring flower bulbs or other taller perennials.
